Rob Fritz is a Los Angeles based lighting designer and automated lighting programmer. Over the past 20 years he has lit projects across the United States and has more than 1000 credits in lighting design and programming. His work varies from dance to music videos, from theater to celebrity weddings. His live event design work has been seen at stages including: the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (Los Angeles, California), the Kennedy Center (Washington, DC), the Ahmanson Theater (Los angeles, California), The Boulder Theater, (Boulder Colorado), the Manship Center For the Performing Arts, (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), Universal Studios Hollywood, (Universal City, California).
Notable design credits include: Debbie Allen's The Hot Chocolate Nutcracker, (World Premiere), Terry Beeman's Atmospsheres II (Lester Horton Dance Award Nominee) Bound, Piccolo Concerto, Bill and Ted's Excellent Halloween Adventure for Radiance Lightworks (2007-present), and just about every piece of Musical theater written. Concerts designs include Lou Rawls, RUN DMC, Outkast, E-Town featuring Johnny Cash, E-Town featuring Willie Nelson. Rob has programmed lighting for events at the Grammy awards, Music Videos airing internationally, celebrity weddings, and live concert videos. Rob received his Bachelors of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado, and his Masters of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts.
